ANIMALS was an artist collective and at the same time net-based record label. Established in Tromsø, Norway, in 2013, by Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel and Ørjan Amundsen. During three years, ANIMALS initiated and partook in a range of events, collaborations, and also art and music releases, both in physical and digital editions. ANIMALS' aim was to be an open and collective platform that enabled the realization of events, productions or other projects by artists, musicians, or other creative practitioners that share a common interest in music as a form of art. ANIMALS is per 2016 defunct, but its spirit and zeal lives on in Phuture Club.
