Norrakollektivet

Norrakollektivet is an ongoing collaboration between the artists Fanny Carinasdotter, Anja Örn and Tomas Örn. They have a common interest in places, how industry meets nature and the traces of people's activities. Norrakollektivet work completely collectively and deliberately slow and return to the same place year after year. This clearly distinguishes their work from the industrial processes they investigate. So far their work has focused around the Aitik mine. The mine and its surrounding landscape have become a site to investigate, understand and illuminate mineral extraction and its consequences for man and nature.
