Susannefoto Forlag is founded by Susanne Hætta, author, photographer and visual artist. It primarily publishes books by Hætta herself. So far, that includes a photo book about Sámi artist Mari Boine, Mari Moments – Mari Liibbat (2017) and an artist portrait on Synnøve Persen, Luondduadjágasat – Dreamscapes – Drømmelandskap – Traumlandschaften (2018). The first is written in English and Northern Sámi, the latter also included Norwegian and German in the same edition. Susanne Hætta does her own book designs and is in charge of the whole process. She also authors books for other publishers, and the next is Mázejoavku. Indigenous Collectivity and Art, published by DAT, in collaboration with Office for Contemporary Art Norway.
